Attacks fly in from all four sides toward the ring around your airbender. Tap the side an attack is coming from just as it reaches the ring to bend it back — on a keyboard, use the arrow keys. Dead on is a perfect; close is good; too early wastes the block, and too late takes the hit.
Five waves: water, earth, fire, air, then the Avatar State with all four at once. Every ten blocks in a row raises your combo, up to ×4 — but a miss, or a tap at an empty side, breaks it. One level, and it’s the hard one.
